چکیده
Abstract Background: We sought to determine pre-infection correlates of immunity against SARS-CoV-2 post-vaccine infections. Methods: Serum and saliva samples from 176 BNT162b2-vaccinated adults in the Prospective Assessment Seroconversion study were collected between October December 2021 assessed for serum levels WT Spike (S)-specific IgG IgA antibodies using a microsphere-based multiplex immunoassay. also neutralization activity D614G, Delta (617.2), Omicron BA.1 BA.1.1 variants lentiviral pseudovirus assay. After fall visit, participants reported all positive PCR and/or antigen tests SARS-CoV-2. Duration, severity, type symptoms, as well risk exposures adherence precautionary measures, by questionnaires during spring 2022 visit. Results: Thirty-two (18.2%) had infections 7, April 1, 2022. Pre-infection anti-S antibody neutralizing titers higher individuals that did not develop infection (p values 0.0098, 0.0313, 0.021, respectively). No with an level greater than 15,000 binding units (BAU/ml) developed infection. Conclusion: High levels, high subvariants, low home scores correlated protection initial wave.
